Ingredients
- 2 Lbs. ground venison
- 1- 15 oz. can whole kernel corn
- 1- 14 oz. can dice tomatoes with juice
- 1- 4 oz. can of tomato sauce
- 1- cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1- medium onion diced ¼”
- 2- Tbsp. Chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ stick melted butter
- ¼ cup cornmeal
- ½ green bell pepper diced
- 1- 15 oz. can green beans
- 1- can store bought biscuits
Directions
1) Brown the meat with onions in a large frying pan and add chili powder, salt and pepper.
2) In a greased three-quart casserole dish add the browned meat and onions and add tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn, cheese, bell pepper.
3) Mix all these ingredients and place in a preheated oven for 10 minutes.
4) Melt the butter and roll biscuits in it, place them on top of the casserole, sprinkle with cornmeal and return to the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
